Senior Solutions Architect

About the role

The Senior Solutions Architect will assess business requirements and design high‑quality, simplified IT solutions that support marketing plans and dynamic business moves. The role works closely with commercial, finance, technical, HR and other business areas to provide the data needed for informed decision‑making and to ensure integration systems remain scalable and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and analyse business requirements for reporting, analytics, data mining, big data, GIS and campaign management solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with users across all business units and deliver data needed for decision support.
• Respond proactively to ad‑hoc requests from commercial teams.
• Design, build and maintain integration systems that handle high loads and ensure business continuity.
• Prioritise and plan road‑maps for Data Warehouse, Campaign Management and GIS solutions, identifying dependencies.
• Provide work‑arounds to simplify product development life‑cycles.
• Drive continuous improvement of team processes and activities.
• Report on project progress to meet KPI targets.
• Support IT stakeholders to ensure product success and represent the team in commercial forums.
• Offer technical consultancy as a subject‑matter expert and consider cost‑optimisation in solution design.
• Conduct capacity‑expansion exercises for the Data Warehouse to guarantee scalability.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, IT solutions or data solutions.
• Strong business analysis, communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Leadership and analytical skills with a focus on quality.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Excellent reporting skills.
• Development or quality‑engineering background is a plus.
• Creative and interpersonal skills are desirable.
