Senior Tax Accountant

About the role

The Senior Tax Accountant joins Bosta’s finance team in a full‑time hybrid capacity, working from the Qesm El Maadi office and remotely as needed. You will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance across Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, ensuring accurate filings and supporting the company’s rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and review tax computations and prepare tax returns for multiple jurisdictions.
• Ensure full compliance with local and regional tax regulations.
• Analyze financial data, reconcile tax accounts, and assist in the preparation of accurate financial statements.
• Monitor changes in tax law and advise internal stakeholders on implications.
• Identify opportunities for tax efficiency while maintaining compliance.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and external auditors.
• Maintain proper documentation and contribute to process improvements within the tax function.

Required profile

• Strong technical tax knowledge, including tax compliance and preparation for the region.
• Proficiency in accounting principles and experience preparing and reconciling financial statements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, CA or equivalent is a strong plus.
• Several years of experience in a senior tax accounting role, preferably in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems; experience with tax software and reporting tools is beneficial.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize tasks and maintain confidentiality.
