Senior Vendor Engagement Specialist

About the role

Talabat, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a Senior Vendor Engagement Specialist to join its team in Maadi. The role ensures that deals, promotions and discounts are correctly implemented in the Talabat app across all vendors, works closely with account managers and marketing, and helps maximize daily orders through vendor collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure parity on deals, promotions and discounts in-store level is implemented in the Talabat app across all vendors.
• Work with Account Managers and Marketing so campaigns run smoothly according to the marketing calendar, and coordinate timelines with the Account Manager, Key Account Manager and Marketing.
• Make sure all deals, discounts and promotions are accurately shown in the app (swimlanes, category icons, banners).
• Collaborate with FMCG/CPG companies to implement exclusive deals for partners, and maximize off-take and daily orders through deals, promotions, bundles and discounts.
• Forecast promotions and bundles accurately and share them with vendor stakeholders to avoid out-of-stock incidents.
• Conduct periodic trade visits to assess new launches, existing promotions and brand activation initiatives, and prepare closing reports for each campaign.
• Consult internally (Regional NFV, Local Marketing) and externally (partner category managers, brand managers, store managers) to align assets and budgets with local marketing teams.
• Analyze campaign performance data, including user behavior, engagement and conversion, and monitor in-app banners, swimlanes and promotions.
• Liaise with the content team to run A/B tests on banners and app elements, and recommend data-driven changes to user flows, design, placement and messaging.
• Identify revenue-growth opportunities, create growth projects and support their execution.

Required profile

• Preferred: 2-3 years of experience in trade sales in grocery retail or FMCG, with trade marketing experience (a plus).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Project management experience against set deliverables.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work independently, solve problems and pay attention to detail.
• Team player willing to learn and develop in the role.
