SharePoint Administrator – AWS Hosted Environment

About the role

We are looking for a skilled SharePoint Administrator to manage and support our SharePoint Server and Project Server (PWA) environments hosted on Amazon Web Services. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, and security of the platforms while providing support to end‑users and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support SharePoint Server and Project Server (PWA) environments.
• Manage site collections, web applications, content databases, service applications, and user permissions.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot workflows using Nintex, SharePoint Designer, and Power Automate.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and storage utilization.
• Support AWS‑hosted infrastructure, including EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Assist in migration and upgrade projects, including on‑premises to AWS migrations.
• Troubleshoot issues related to services, search, workflows, and integrations.
• Support backup, recovery, patching, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and operational standards.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve incidents and implement improvements.
• Provide end‑user and technical support for SharePoint‑related issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in SharePoint administration and support.
• Hands‑on experience with SharePoint Server 2016/2019 or later.
• Experience with Project Server / Project Web App (PWA) preferred.
• Experience working with cloud‑hosted environments, preferably AWS.
