Site Engineer (Civil/Architecture)

About the role

El-Mohandes Jotun S.A.E. is hiring a Site Engineer (Civil/Architecture) for its Decorative Projects Team, based at the Head Office in New Cairo and reporting to the Technical Sales Support Manager. The engineer visits project sites to supervise painting activities, ensure Jotun products are applied correctly and safely, and works closely with R&D on technical challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor painting activities on site and ensure Jotun products follow technical specifications, approved procedures and quality standards.
• Inspect, assess and test work, preparing technical reports on compliance and product performance.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints through site inspections and stakeholder coordination.
• Collaborate with R&D to troubleshoot technical issues, give application recommendations and support field trials of new products.
• Recommend coating systems and application methods, monitor paint consumption and report deviations or shortages.
• Promote a safety culture by ensuring painting activities comply with HSE regulations and Jotun's safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architecture Engineering.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, written and spoken.
• At least 3 years of experience on construction sites.
