Spa Receptionist

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and organized Spa Receptionist to join our Marriott hotel in Cairo. You will be the first point of contact for guests, managing appointments, promoting services and ensuring smooth operations at the spa.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule individual and group spa services using the reservation software and confirm appointments by phone.
• Answer guest inquiries about services, update the reservation list throughout the day and communicate last‑minute changes to therapists.
• Check‑in guests, provide a brief orientation, promote and sell spa treatments.
• Process payments, handle cash tips, balance receipts and forward documentation to Accounting.
• Notify Engineering of maintenance needs, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and follow all company policies.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information and assist guests with disabilities.
• Perform physical duties such as standing for long periods and lifting items up to 10 lb.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Less than one year of related experience; no supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work full‑time in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spa reservation software.
• Cash handling and basic receipt reconciliation.
• Clear, professional verbal communication.
• Physical ability to stand, walk and lift up to 10 lb.
