Steel Structural Design Engineer (Full‑Time)

About the role

ECO Misr Engineering is seeking a qualified Steel Structural Design Engineer to join its Alexandria office. The role involves the analysis and design of steel structures for industrial and commercial projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of steel frames for various projects.
• Develop detailed design calculations and drawings using industry‑standard software.
• Coordinate with project teams and clients to communicate technical solutions.
• Ensure all designs meet local and international steel design codes.
• Support the preparation of tender documents and construction supervision reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in steel structural analysis and design.
• Strong knowledge of design codes and standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Arabic.
• Experience with industrial or commercial steel projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with Revit or BIM tools is an advantage.
