Student Marketeer - Nile University

About the role

Red Bull is recruiting a Student Marketeer for Nile University. As part of its brand and product ambassador program, the Student Marketeer represents the brand on campus and in the region, reaching new consumers, increasing sales and managing the brand at a student level. The role involves direct contact with consumers, inviting product trials and working at Red Bull events, and suits someone who values flexibility over a 9 to 5 job.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a brand and product ambassador: embody the brand personality and values in everyday interactions with consumers and customers.
• Grow the user base by inviting positive trial and awareness through product sampling, answering consumer questions and concerns.
• Build and run an insight-driven, campus-tailored plan that engages and excites students.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key local individuals and drive brand engagement on social media with authentic content.
• Build relationships with local sales account managers so Red Bull is available and visible in outlets, and help open new distribution points on and around campus.
• Use Red Bull assets to keep the brand top of mind in sales accounts and ensure store standards are followed.
• Maintain Student Marketeer tools, plan and report activities on the dedicated online platform, and share ideas with the team regularly.

Required profile

• Second or third-year student.
• Excellent communication skills, charismatic, energetic, outgoing and highly approachable.
• Immersed in student life, with a thorough understanding of the university, city and region.
• Creative mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, responsibility and initiative.
• Affinity for learning marketing, negotiation and sales skills.
• Connected with influential groups and individuals on campus.
• Passion for the Red Bull brand and product.
• Must have a valid driving license.

Required skills

• Ability to manage part-time work alongside studies, ideally including some evenings and weekends.
