Tech Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Tech Support Engineer to join AVEVA’s Cairo team. In this role you will deliver post‑sales product support, training and consultancy for AVEVA’s industrial software solutions, helping customers in the region maximise the value of their investments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide second‑line product support to regional customers, addressing and resolving technical issues promptly.
• Deliver high‑quality specialist training on AVEVA applications at training centres and customer sites.
• Assist with deployment and configuration services, working closely with the technical team.
• Develop scopes of work and proposals for consulting and customisation projects.
• Offer industry‑specific consultancy and pre‑sales support as required.
• Travel on short notice to customer locations to represent AVEVA and deliver services.

Required profile

• Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Hands‑on experience with current versions of AVEVA InTouch and System Platform.
• Strong understanding of HMI/SCADA architectures and industrial automation.
• Domain experience in process control for Food & Beverage, CPG, Metals or Discrete manufacturing.
• Previous experience as a Technical Support Engineer or in a related support/design role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
