Technical Office Engineer – Industrial Refrigeration

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Office Engineer with solid experience in industrial refrigeration systems to support engineering, design, costing and project execution. The role bridges sales, design, procurement and site teams, ensuring accurate documentation, efficient planning and compliance with technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical drawings, layouts and shop drawings for industrial refrigeration systems (NH₃, CO₂, Freon, etc.).
• Review project specifications, BOQs and client requirements.
• Perform heat load calculations, equipment selection and system sizing.
• Prepare technical submittals and support tendering and cost estimation, including material take‑offs.
• Coordinate with procurement for technical clarification of equipment and materials.
• Provide technical support to site engineers during installation and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with international standards such as ASHRAE, IIAR and EN.
• Maintain organized project documentation and revision control, and participate in value engineering and problem‑solving.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Power Engineering or a related field.
• 2–7 years of relevant experience in industrial refrigeration.
• Strong knowledge of compressors, condensers, evaporators, valves and piping systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience is a plus) and familiarity with refrigeration calculation software.
• Good understanding of safety standards and refrigeration regulations.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication abilities and ability to work under pressure.
