Associate Manager, Electrical & Automation Engineering

About the role

Nestlé Egypt is looking for an Associate Manager, Electrical & Automation Engineering, based at its 6th of October factory in Egypt. The role supports Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), electricity and automation (E&A) professional and technical operations and takes part in CAPEX projects, in line with corporate guidelines. All activities must improve business objectives, product quality and plant performance while protecting people health and safety, product safety and the environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in capital investment projects, preparing user and technical specifications, coordinating production and quality needs, and following up solution development, pre-tests, implementation and operator and maintenance crew training
• Ensure process and equipment safety for people, products and the environment, and implement engineering tools and maintenance activities at site level
• Maintain compliance with safety, health, environmental and product quality standards, and keep documentation such as SLD, URS, FDS and calibration procedures up to date
• Ensure Management of Change is in place and that local electrical and calibration legislation is applied
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and products while protecting technological know-how

Required profile

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience as an automation and/or MES engineer with electrical experience
• Supervision of technical teams, contractors or third parties
• Experience developing engineering projects in a multidisciplinary team and starting up technical equipment or production lines
• Self-management following defined KPIs and objectives
• Exposure to TPM, preventive maintenance planning and/or maintenance execution is desired but not required
