Technical Team Leader

About the role

The Technical Team Leader will guide a software development team to deliver high‑quality solutions that meet product and project objectives. This role blends technical oversight, process management, and team mentorship while acting as the bridge between developers and senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development team through all project phases, from planning to delivery.
• Participate in architectural discussions, select technologies, and maintain design documentation.
• Estimate tasks, set timelines, and coordinate with the Product Manager.
• Review and approve code, scripts, and technical implementations before release.
• Enforce sprint policies such as feature freeze, branch freeze, and testing deadlines.
• Conduct personal testing cycles, produce testing reports, and ensure feature completeness.
• Track KPIs including code quality, test coverage, bug ratios, and hot‑fix rework rates.
• Collaborate with BAs, PMs, UI/UX, QA, and service teams to align requirements and mitigate risks.
• Mentor developers, conduct performance appraisals, and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Ensure compliance with internal staging, release policies, security standards, and documentation practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 6 years of software development experience, including 1–2 years in a leadership role.
