Telehealth Pain Management Physician (Full-time, Cairo)

About the role

Hands of Hope Physical Therapy is expanding its virtual care team in Cairo. The role involves delivering telehealth pain‑management services to patients under the guidance of U.S.-based specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual consultations to assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic pain conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that include pharmacological and non‑pharmacological therapies.
• Collaborate with U.S.-licensed physicians to ensure continuity of care and extend patient access.
• Educate patients on self‑care techniques, lifestyle modifications, and pain‑management strategies.
• Monitor progress through regular virtual follow‑ups and adjust plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate, compliant medical records according to Egyptian and U.S. telehealth standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapists and wellness providers, to deliver integrated care.

Required profile

• Graduate of a recognized Faculty of Medicine in Egypt with an active medical license.
• Proven experience in Pain Management, Orthopedics, or Physical Medicine.
• Board certification or advanced training in Pain Management, Anesthesiology, or a related field (preferred).
• Excellent command of English for clinical documentation and patient communication.
• Strong clinical decision‑making, empathy, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience using EMR systems.
• Familiarity with telemedicine technologies.
