Tendering Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Tendering Engineer to join our construction team. In this role you will be responsible for preparing and submitting competitive tender proposals, ensuring they meet project specifications, timelines, and budget constraints. Your work will directly support our project acquisition strategy and company growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive competitive tender submissions for construction projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information.
• Analyze tender documents, specifications, drawings, and contracts to assess feasibility and risks.
• Develop and maintain a database of past tender submissions and outcomes.
• Meet submission deadlines and ensure all documentation complies with client requirements.
• Participate in post‑tender reviews and debriefs to improve processes.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and technical data.
• Monitor market trends and pricing for construction materials and labour to inform tender strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tendering or estimating within the construction industry.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with multiple teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with tendering software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
