Tour Leader

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Tour Leader to accompany groups of travelers on excursions across Egypt, primarily based in Hurghada. The successful candidate will ensure a safe, informative and enjoyable experience, handling logistics, answering questions and responding to any issues that arise during the tour.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome participants at the start point, verify attendance and conduct pre‑tour briefings.
• Guide groups through destinations, highlighting historical, cultural and natural points of interest.
• Manage travel arrangements, stop‑overs, route adjustments and coordinate with bus captains and other service providers.
• Address participant inquiries, provide advice on customs, language basics and currency exchange.
• Handle emergencies, passport/visa problems, illnesses, accidents, lost luggage and complaints with professionalism.
• Collaborate with the Operations Department to apply safety protocols, disaster recovery and evacuation procedures.
• Monitor the safety and security of the group throughout the trip and provide feedback on vendor performance.
• Continuously review participant feedback to improve service quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality or a related field.
• Fluency in English; additional languages such as German or French are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian history, culture and major tourist attractions.
• Minimum two years proven experience as a Tour Leader in Hurghada.
• Excellent time‑management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage unexpected situations such as flight delays, weather changes and guest complaints.
