Turbomachinery Control & Digitalization Engineer

About the role

AIS is looking for a Turbomachinery Control Engineer to support the delivery of turbomachinery control and digitalization solutions across industrial projects. The engineer works on the engineering, implementation, testing and commissioning of control systems for rotating equipment, while supporting reliability and asset performance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer and implement turbomachinery control solutions, including control logic development, HMI/SCADA configuration and design documentation.
• Support projects from design and engineering through commissioning and startup.
• Analyze customer specifications and develop implementation strategies for control systems and digital solutions.
• Collaborate with clients, project teams and other engineering disciplines, and contribute to technical proposals, gap analyses, engineering studies and project documentation.
• Collect and analyze operational data from plant systems such as Historians, MMS and SAP, identify trends and reliability improvement opportunities.
• Support performance monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance optimization, and provide technical support, user training and project documentation.
• Stay up to date with turbomachinery control, industrial automation, digitalization and asset performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Energy Management or a related engineering discipline.
• Background in Control & Instrumentation or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in turbomachinery control, digitalization, reliability or asset management preferred; hands-on experience with turbomachinery control systems highly desirable.
• Good understanding of rotating equipment operation, fault diagnosis, maintenance practices and reliability principles.
