Unified Communications Associate Manager

About the role

DXC Technology is seeking a Unified Communications Associate Manager to lead the design, deployment and ongoing management of enterprise UC infrastructure across Egypt. The role covers Cisco, Microsoft Teams, AWS Connect and related collaboration platforms, ensuring high‑availability and security for voice, video and messaging services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture and multisite deployment of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX) including dial‑plan optimization and integration with PSTN and LDAP.
• Design, implement and maintain Cisco Webex, Cisco Jabber and Microsoft Teams solutions, driving adoption and ensuring seamless interoperability.
• Develop and manage enterprise‑grade call recording, instant messaging, and presence services with compliance and scalability in mind.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and performance tuning for all UC components using tools such as SolarWinds and Dynatrace.
• Coordinate UC projects from planning to delivery, mentor junior engineers and liaise with vendors and service providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience designing and operating complex Unified Communications environments.
• Cisco CCNP Collaboration or CCIE Collaboration certification preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English.

• Cisco CUCM, UCCX, Jabber and Webex.
• Microsoft Teams, Teams Rooms and Teams Phone System.
• Protocols: SIP, H.323, MGCP, SCCP, RTP, SRTP.
• Cloud contact centre platforms: AWS Connect, Amazon Contact Lens.
• Monitoring and ticketing tools: ServiceNow, SolarWinds, Dynatrace.
