Universal Banker – Retail Banking (Katameya Branch)

About the role

The Universal Banker will operate the teller counter at the new Katameya branch, delivering high‑quality service to walk‑in customers and promoting the bank’s retail products. The role blends cash handling, sales, and problem‑solving to ensure a seamless banking experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cash transactions at the teller counter, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Drive customer acquisition through sales to walk‑ins and cross‑sell banking products.
• Handle customer complaints, log issues, and coordinate resolution with relevant units.
• Educate customers on alternative channels and digital banking technologies.
• Achieve personal and branch KPIs for product sales and service quality.
• Maintain zero operational losses by adhering to policies and processes.
• Collaborate with support units, CCU, and DBC to provide a consistent customer experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of branch banking experience, preferably in retail banking.
• Age between 23 and 30 years.
• Strong understanding of retail banking products, policies, and procedures.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
• Familiarity with digital technologies and banking channels.
• Knowledge of retail banking products.
