Visual Merchandiser – Children's Retail

About the role

The Visual Merchandiser is the key driver of the in-store brand experience, leading and executing the visual merchandising strategy across three branches. The role transforms store spaces into attractive environments for children and their parents, drives sales, reinforces a consistent brand identity and ensures commercial targets and inventory are met.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement seasonal and weekly displays aligned with the Pink and Blue brand identity and marketing strategy, and coordinate floor plans and planograms.
• Install displays and periodic changes, apply brand standards (colour, lighting, music, scent), and create window displays and in-store hotspots.
• Train and coach store sales teams on visual merchandising principles and daily store standards.
• Schedule store visits, manage the inventory of props and fixtures within budget, and coordinate transfers of promotional materials between branches.
• Audit visual standards during visits, monitor market trends and competitors, and propose innovations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Interior Design, Marketing or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably in children's or fashion retail.
• Strong design sense, leadership, time management, communication and training skills; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Physical mobility to stand, walk and move light fixtures and props.
• Gender: males; age up to 35.

Required skills

• Planogram software such as Adobe Illustrator, SketchUp, JDA Space Planning or Retail Nexus.
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) for visual concepts and mood boards.
• Basic interpretation of retail KPIs and POS sales reports.
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel.
