WAN Management Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking a WAN Management Team Leader to oversee network performance across buildings, large branches, third‑party sites and subsidiaries. The role ensures proactive monitoring, rapid incident response and continuous improvement of our WAN infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor network performance in buildings, large branches, third‑party sites and subsidiaries to detect outages, slow performance or security threats.
• Ensure the network operation team addresses service‑desk tickets and reported incidents promptly.
• Lead incident response, follow escalation procedures, coordinate with other teams and provide status updates to management.
• Manage hardware changes, upgrades, patches and new device installations while minimizing service disruption.
• Handle technical escalations for WAN cores, third‑party connections and off‑site ATMs.
• Guide the team in troubleshooting and resolving network issues.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis after incidents to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, incident responses and change‑management activities.
• Provide regular performance, incident and activity reports to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or a related field.
• 8‑10 years of experience in networking concepts, routing protocols (preferably Cisco) and network operations.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE (Routing & Switching) and SD‑WAN preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
