Warehouse Logistics Manager – FMCG

About the role

The Warehouse Logistics Manager will lead and oversee all logistics and warehouse activities for a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment. The role ensures efficient storage, handling, inventory control, transportation and distribution while meeting high service levels, cost targets and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily distribution and transportation, optimizing routes, vehicle utilization and delivery schedules.
• Oversee warehouse receiving, storage, picking, loading, dispatching and transfers, ensuring effective space utilization and safety.
• Maintain accurate physical and system inventory records, conduct cycle counts and manage slow‑moving or obsolete stock.
• Ensure orders are prepared and delivered on time, monitor OTIF performance and resolve customer delivery issues.
• Monitor warehouse and transportation costs against budget, track KPIs and drive efficiency improvements.
• Lead, coach and develop the logistics and warehouse team, set objectives and conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations and support audit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in logistics, warehousing or distribution, with 3–5 years in a managerial role, preferably in FMCG or high‑volume environments.
