Account Assistant / Sales Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an Account Assistant/Sales Assistant to ensure end‑to‑end inventory availability, fast delivery, and healthy stock levels across our private‑brand portfolio. You will work with cross‑functional teams, analyse operational data, and drive data‑based actions that improve product availability and the overall customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and improve product availability by managing the purchase‑order lifecycle and resolving stock‑out root causes.
• Analyse inventory performance metrics, spot trends and create prioritized action plans.
• Collaborate with supply‑chain and logistics teams to optimise delivery speed and inventory flow.
• Use demand forecasts and regional patterns to ensure optimal inventory placement.
• Maintain healthy inventory coverage, balancing supply with demand and mitigating overstock or shortage risks.
• Identify and execute actions to reduce aged, excess and stranded inventory.
• Build scalable reports, automate insights where possible and communicate risks and performance updates to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in sales, supply chain, operations or a related analytical field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, root causes and improvement opportunities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
