AI / ML Engineering Tech Lead (Onsite)

A multinational tech consulting firm is hiring an AI / ML Engineering Tech Lead for an onsite position in Cairo. The role combines client engagement with hands-on machine learning work: understanding client needs, preparing data, designing and training models, and presenting results. Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their pain points, goals and data challenges, and document requirements aligned with business objectives.
• Communicate proposed solutions clearly to clients and internal teams.
• Collect, clean and prepare large datasets; explore them for patterns and anomalies.
• Perform feature engineering and data normalization to improve model performance.
• Design and implement machine learning algorithms, experiment with different models and optimize them for scalability, accuracy and efficiency.
• Train models, validate them through testing and iteration, and evaluate performance with standard metrics.
• Create visualizations using tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau and Power BI.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of AI/ML algorithms and hands-on experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Proven track record of building, training and fine-tuning machine learning models.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused, problem-solving mindset.
• Preferred: experience deploying machine learning solutions in real-world scenarios, leadership experience managing AI/ML projects, and a passion for staying up to date with AI/ML trends.
