American Diploma English Teacher (August 2026)

About the role

Westview International Language School is looking for a dedicated and experienced American Diploma English Teacher to join its educational team. The teacher delivers high-quality instruction aligned with the American Diploma curriculum to support students' academic achievement and personal growth. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English language lessons following American Diploma standards.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that meet curriculum objectives and cater to different learning styles.
• Assess and evaluate student performance regularly through tests, assignments and projects, giving constructive feedback.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and academic excellence.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum delivery and contribute to curriculum development.
• Communicate with parents about student progress, achievements and areas for improvement.
• Take part in professional development to stay up to date with subject knowledge and teaching methods.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education or a related field.
• Teaching certification and experience delivering the American Diploma curriculum.
• Strong command of English language and literature, able to inspire and engage students.
• Experience teaching high school students preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents and colleagues.
• Knowledge of current educational best practices and innovative teaching strategies.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and teamwork.
