Applications Management Senior Specialist

About the role

The Applications Management Senior Specialist will lead the design, development, and maintenance of critical business applications. You will work closely with both local and central teams to ensure seamless integration, reliable roll‑outs, and continuous improvement of the application ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage development pipelines, design, develop, test, and debug new applications.
• Create automation scripts and integrate systems across local and central environments.
• Design and optimise relational databases for performance and scalability.
• Coordinate software roll‑outs, align with central teams, and document operational procedures.
• Provide first‑line Service Desk support, handle tickets, and collaborate on incident resolution.
• Maintain IT security standards, manage user authorisation, and embed security‑by‑design principles.
• Monitor applications, correct defects, and propose enhancements based on business requirements.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Extensive experience with .Net development and MS SQL Server.
• Strong background in relational database design and optimisation.
• Familiarity with agile project management and cross‑functional team collaboration.
• Experience with SAP, Microsoft Power Platform, cloud computing, or Power BI is a plus.
