Architecture Design Engineer

About the role

Sabbour Consulting is seeking an Architecture Design Engineer to lead the creation and review of detailed architectural working drawings and construction documents. The role ensures accuracy, constructability, and coordination with all disciplines while complying with approved designs, specifications, and codes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review architectural working drawings, details, sections, schedules, and specifications.
• Translate approved concept and schematic designs into fully detailed construction documents.
• Develop architectural details for finishes, joinery, doors, windows, façades, and interfaces.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, and other disciplines to achieve clash‑free designs.
• Review coordinated drawings, resolve technical and constructability issues, and participate in coordination meetings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, building codes, and authority requirements.
• Apply quality control procedures, incorporate client, consultant, and authority comments, and support site teams during construction.
• Review shop drawings and material submittals, and assist in resolving site‑related design issues and RFIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 3 years of experience producing architectural construction documents for large‑scale residential, commercial or mixed‑use projects.
• Strong exposure to construction‑stage coordination and support.
• Expert knowledge of architectural detailing and construction documentation.
• Excellent command of English.
