Assistant Director of People & Culture

About the role

Accor is looking for an Assistant Director of People & Culture for its Rixos Radamis hotel in Sharm El Sheikh. The role oversees the day-to-day operations of the People & Culture department, ensuring activities are efficient, accurate and in line with company policies and procedures, and supports the Director of People & Culture.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment with department heads and hiring managers, monitor vacancies and recruitment sources, and coach hiring managers on fair and consistent selection practices.
• Manage employee onboarding, transfers, promotions, contract renewals and separations, including exit interviews and clearance procedures.
• Handle routine employee relations matters, document grievances and complaints confidentially, and follow up on employee engagement surveys and initiatives.
• Support the annual training plan, track mandatory training, and coordinate leadership development, cross-training and internal mobility.
• Coordinate the annual performance appraisal process, individual development plans and talent review meetings.
• Prepare payroll-related employee data, work with Finance and Payroll on discrepancies, and administer employee benefits and welfare programmes.
• Maintain accurate personnel files, P&C databases and monthly People & Culture reports such as headcount, vacancies, turnover and labour costs.
