Assistant Maintenance Manager

About the role

Alamar is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across its GCC stores and facilities. The role ensures equipment reliability, safety, and cost‑effective performance while supporting a seamless in‑store experience for staff and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, allocate resources and execute all maintenance activities for Alamar’s stores in the GCC region.
• Supervise maintenance teams, including team leaders and technicians, ensuring efficient routine, preventive and corrective work.
• Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, spare‑parts planning and cost controls.
• Develop and oversee annual maintenance contracts with vendors, approving equipment calibrations (ovens, makelines, HVAC, signage, etc.).
• Coordinate vendor relations to guarantee timely deliveries and avoid delays.
• Lead emergency response and drive initiatives that improve cost efficiency and operational performance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation, compliance records and safety standards.
• Generate performance reports, oversee asset management and support store openings, relocations and remodels.

Required profile

• Electro‑Mechanical engineering background (mandatory).
• Proven experience in project management, preferably within F&B or retail environments.
• Strong strategic thinking, change management and talent development capabilities.
