About the role
Reporting to the People Development Manager, the Assistant Manager, People Development will support the delivery of learning and talent initiatives across the resort. The role focuses on fostering a continuous learning culture, aligning development programs with hotel objectives, and ensuring operational performance through innovative training strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Drive a continuous learning culture by making learning accessible, prioritized, and executed.
- Collaborate with department heads and the People & Culture team to identify learning needs and design best‑in‑class solutions.
- Assist in developing and implementing training strategies that reinforce the company’s service culture.
- Embed global brand and culture initiatives within hotel operations.
- Deliver high‑quality learning solutions to all business units.
- Support the integration and administration of INES (PeopleHub) as the core learning platform.
- Advise business units on emerging technologies, thought leadership, and best practices.
- Certify hotel trainers, facilitators, and PD teams for program delivery.
- Help manage program budgets, select external consultants, or coordinate internal expertise.
- Coach and develop hotel staff, fostering high standards of excellence.
- Align local programs with global L&D ethos and co‑design new initiatives.
- Tailor global learning content to local needs, including language translation.
- Conduct on‑the‑job and task‑breakdown training sessions.
Required profile
- Demonstrated commitment to the company’s service culture and responsiveness.
- Strong collaboration skills with department leaders and HR teams.
- Ability to manage training budgets and coordinate external/internal consultants.
- Coaching mindset with a focus on developing team capabilities.
- Capability to adapt global learning programs to local hotel requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
