Associate Scientist – Formulation Development (R&D Pharmacist)

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Scientist to join our Formulation Development team in Six October City. The role focuses on pre‑formulation and formulation activities for new pharmaceutical products, supporting research objectives and ensuring smooth scale‑up and technology transfer.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct literature surveys and design pre‑formulation and formulation experiments for new products.
• Document and report trial observations and results following established procedures.
• Operate laboratory instruments in accordance with SOPs and GMP standards after training.
• Prepare samples for stability and bio‑equivalence studies.
• Execute pilot, scale‑up and validation batches and generate required documentation.
• Follow occupational safety and waste management procedures.
• Support any additional tasks related to formulation development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with a “Very Good” or “Excellent” grade.
• 0‑2 years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation or related field.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
