About the role
Capgemini is looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join its automotive testing team. You will design, develop and maintain automated test suites that ensure high‑quality software delivery for leading automotive clients.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain integration test automation using TypeScript.
- Implement automated test scripts following the Page Object Model (POM) architecture.
- Perform API test automation for REST services and validate HTTP/HTTPS communications.
- Analyze logs, test results and automation reports to drive continuous improvement.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality deliverables.
- Adhere to coding standards and naming conventions.
Required profile
- 2–8 years of experience in automation testing, preferably in the automotive domain.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work independently.
- Fluent English; German is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
