About the role
We are looking for a diligent Bank Teller to join our branch team. In this position you will be the first point of contact for clients, handling cash and non‑cash transactions while delivering high‑quality service in line with bank policies.
Key responsibilities
- Process cash and non‑cash operations accurately and promptly.
- Welcome clients, receive their instructions, validate requests and obtain necessary approvals.
- Forward client instructions to relevant departments to ensure timely execution.
- Handle customer queries and complaints, escalating when required.
- Cross‑sell bank products and services.
- Follow up on client instructions with internal teams to guarantee proper service delivery.
- Maintain safe keeping of bank valuables and ensure compliance with branch and regulator policies, including CBE regulations.
Required profile
- Experience in banking operations or a similar customer‑facing role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
- Good communication skills and a customer‑service orientation.
