Budgeting & Cost Estimation Team Leader

About the role

We are looking for a Budgeting & Cost Estimation Team Leader to head a group of professionals responsible for producing accurate project cost forecasts. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive budgets for our real‑estate developments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support a team of budgeting and cost estimation specialists.
• Develop and maintain detailed budgets and cost estimates throughout all project phases.
• Gather data from project managers, engineers and other sources to ensure precise cost calculations.
• Analyse plans, specifications and related documents to identify cost impacts and suggest optimisation measures.
• Monitor ongoing project expenditures and provide regular cost updates to stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase budgeting accuracy and efficiency.
• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in cost estimation.
• Train and mentor team members to foster professional growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in budgeting and cost estimation, preferably within real‑estate or construction.
• Proven experience leading and managing a team.
• Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling and cost control.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
