Budgeting & Scheduling Lead

About the role

The Budgeting & Scheduling Lead will oversee the development, maintenance and control of project schedules for the Sokhna Plant. Reporting to the Project Manager, the role ensures that all project phases are planned efficiently, progress is tracked accurately and risks are mitigated to meet the plant’s delivery targets.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to and enforce health & safety legislation and company policies on site.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules aligned with objectives, milestones and contractual obligations.
• Create work breakdown structures, sequence activities and allocate resources to optimise project efficiency.
• Monitor progress against the baseline, identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Perform critical‑path analysis, earned‑value analysis and other KPI tracking to assess schedule performance.
• Identify scheduling risks, propose mitigation strategies and develop contingency plans.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction teams to synchronise schedules and resolve conflicts.
• Ensure efficient utilisation of manpower, equipment and materials to meet deadlines.
• Validate that schedules comply with contractual terms and regulatory requirements.
• Integrate scheduling data with cost‑control processes to support overall project governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project planning and scheduling within construction or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and ability to enforce safe working practices.
• Ability to analyse schedule data, identify risks and develop mitigation or contingency plans.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with engineering, procurement and construction teams.
• Knowledge of contractual and regulatory compliance related to project timelines.
