Business Development Executive – Cosmetics

About the role

CIRA Pharma is seeking a Business Development Executive to lead new product development initiatives within its R&D department. The role bridges market insights, regulatory requirements, and cross‑functional execution to bring innovative cosmetics to market.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end new product development projects from concept and formulation through market launch.
• Act as primary liaison among R&D, Registration, Planning, Production, QC, QA and external suppliers.
• Conduct market research on cosmetic trends, active ingredients and packaging innovations to recommend product line extensions.
• Manage project timelines, milestones and deliverables to ensure on‑time execution.
• Develop product pricing models and calculate raw material consumption for commercial viability.
• Source and negotiate with local and foreign packaging and printing suppliers while managing B2B client accounts and toll‑manufacturing projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, science or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development or project management within the cosmetics industry.
• Familiarity with cosmetics regulations and the Egyptian market landscape.
• Strong ability in competitive analysis, market studies and pricing modelling.
