hp · New Cairo
Job description
About the role
The Channel Business Development Manager for Managed Print Services drives growth, profitability and customer adoption of HP's MPS portfolio across assigned accounts and territories. The role owns the end-to-end MPS sales lifecycle, from opportunity identification and solutioning through deal closure and contractual handover, working closely with Account Managers, Solution Architects and Delivery teams. It focuses on outcome-based selling that helps customers optimise print environments, improve efficiency, reduce costs and advance sustainability.
Key responsibilities
- Own and drive MPS sales targets (TCV, revenue, margin) for assigned accounts and territory, and identify, qualify and convert new opportunities with a consultative, value-led approach.
- Lead the full deal lifecycle: discovery, solution design, pricing, commercial structuring and contract closure.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through demand generation and account planning.
- Engage CXO-level, IT, Procurement and business stakeholders, articulate customer value (cost, productivity, security, governance, sustainability) and influence RFPs.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Engagement Leads and Pursuit teams to design compliant, competitive solutions aligned with HP standards and risk frameworks, and drive internal approvals (OA/SOAR, pricing, risk).
- Work with channel partners, distributors and delivery teams, supporting partner-led MPS while keeping ownership of customer outcomes and commercial governance.
- Ensure smooth post-sales handover to delivery and operations, maintain engagement for renewals and upsell, and monitor contract performance, satisfaction and risk.
Required profile
- 6-10+ years of experience in B2B solution selling, with strong exposure to MPS, print services, managed services or IT services.
- Proven track record of closing complex, multi-year contractual deals.
- Strong understanding of enterprise buying processes, RFPs and procurement models.
- Experience engaging senior customer stakeholders such as IT Heads, CIOs and Procurement Leaders.
Required skills
- Consultative and outcome-based selling, business value articulation and financial modelling.
- Stakeholder management and influence, deal shaping, negotiation and closure.
- Cross-functional collaboration, strong communication and presentation skills.
- High ownership, accountability and execution focus.
Schedule: full-time, no shift premium (Egypt), 75% travel, no relocation. Equal opportunity employer.
