Chef De Partie – Pastry

About the role

We are looking for a talented Chef de Partie specializing in pastry to lead the pastry section of our new Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt. You will be responsible for producing high‑quality baked goods, creating innovative desserts and ensuring the smooth operation of the pastry kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and production of all pastry items, including cakes, cookies, breads and specialty desserts, following recipes to the highest standards.
• Develop new seasonal and event‑specific pastry creations in line with menu concepts.
• Manage the pastry section’s equipment, stock levels and ingredient orders to avoid shortages.
• Supervise and train junior pastry chefs and assistants, providing feedback and ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
• Maintain consistent quality, presentation and taste of all baked goods before service.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, cleaning procedures and sanitation protocols.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pastry and bakery production within a hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
• Ability to lead a small team, train junior staff and maintain high standards of hygiene.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency.
• Knowledge of food safety and health regulations applicable to kitchen operations.
