Hotel Assistant Manager – Duty Manager

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence is seeking a motivated Hotel Assistant Manager (Duty Manager) who shares a passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about delivering unforgettable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring smooth service delivery.
• Lead and develop a team of employees, handling hiring, training, scheduling and performance management.
• Maintain high standards of customer service by interacting with guests and resolving concerns promptly.
• Develop, implement and monitor policies and procedures to optimise operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with other departments to guarantee seamless service integration.
• Analyse financial and operational performance, recommending improvements where needed.
• Ensure a safe, secure environment for staff and guests and manage inventory and supply ordering.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Duty Manager or in a comparable hospitality role.
• Strong leadership, communication and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of financial and operational management principles and customer‑service best practices.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• Native Arabic speaker with proficiency in English.
