About the role

Our client, a leading fertility and women’s health group in Egypt, is launching a flagship branch in Cairo. They are seeking a Commercial Director to drive commercial strategy, revenue growth and market entry across Cairo, Mansoura and Port Said.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the commercial roadmap and revenue targets for all branches.
  • Lead the go‑to‑market and pre‑launch plan for Cairo, including lead generation, referral programmes and launch campaigns.
  • Coordinate with medical, operations, finance, HR and marketing teams to ensure full commercial readiness at launch.
  • Prepare and present investment‑oriented commercial materials and support negotiations with potential shareholders.
  • Build and manage relationships with gynecologists, fertility specialists, hospitals, clinics and corporate accounts.
  • Set sales targets and track revenue by branch, service line, doctor and patient segment.
  • Lead marketing and brand positioning activities in cooperation with internal and external teams.
  • Support doctor and strategic shareholder acquisition through targeted outreach, presentations and structured follow‑up.
  • Develop VIP and premium service models for Cairo and support international patient acquisition through tailored packages and referral relationships.

Required profile

  • 10+ years of commercial/business development experience in healthcare, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in launching or scaling healthcare facilities, especially in Cairo.
  • Deep knowledge of the Cairo healthcare market, referral dynamics and competitive landscape.
  • Strong existing network with gynecologists, obstetricians, fertility specialists and key healthcare stakeholders in Cairo.
  • Understanding of IVF/ICSI and reproductive medicine service models from a commercial perspective.
  • Strong skills in commercial strategy, pricing and P&L‑focused decision making.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills across sales, marketing and customer‑facing functions.
