Computational BIM Engineer – Cairo

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Computational BIM Engineer to join VAES.ai, the technology startup incubated within e.construct. The role focuses on applying Building Information Modeling (BIM) and computational design methodologies to automate workflows, optimise design processes and support interdisciplinary project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and project teams to develop, automate and optimise parametric BIM models using Revit, Rhino and tools such as Dynamo, Grasshopper, Python and .NET.
• Create and manage BIM libraries, parametric templates and standards, incorporating automation and computational workflows.
• Support interdisciplinary BIM coordination through clash‑detection workflows and computational tools.
• Develop custom software tools, templates and scripts to enhance BIM efficiency and project delivery.
• Research emerging BIM technologies, computational design techniques and parametric modelling trends.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of BIM processes by proposing innovative solutions.
