Contracts Manager – Construction & Real Estate

About the role

Al-Futtaim Group is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead contract and claims management across its construction and real‑estate portfolio. You will provide strategic guidance, ensure compliance, and protect the organization’s commercial interests.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement contract management strategies, policies and best practices aligned with business objectives.
• Provide expert contractual advice to senior stakeholders on negotiations, risk mitigation and dispute resolution.
• Lead the creation and standardisation of contract templates, terms and conditions.
• Oversee end‑to‑end contract and claims management, ensuring compliance with Al‑Futtaim Group Real Estate (AFGRE) standards.
• Drive cost optimisation initiatives and maximise savings through effective contract structuring.
• Ensure strict adherence to company processes, policies and applicable laws.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners, vendors and cross‑functional teams.
• Manage multiple priorities and tight timelines, adapting to evolving business needs.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the contracts team.

Required profile

• 7‑10+ years of contracts management experience within the construction industry.
• Proven track record in claims management, contract drafting and dispute resolution.
• Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
