Country Oncology Lead – Commercial Oncology

About the role

This senior leadership position will establish Glenmark as a credible oncology player in Egypt. The Country Oncology Lead will own the commercial launch and growth of Glenmark’s first innovative oncology assets, including immuno‑oncology, antibody‑drug conjugates and targeted therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the country oncology commercial strategy, aligned with global franchise priorities and local market realities.
• Assume shared P&L ownership for oncology revenue and gross margin, developing forecasts, business plans and scenario models.
• Own end‑to‑end launch readiness for first‑in‑country innovative oncology assets, coordinating sales force, marketing, market access, and supply planning.
• Build the oncology organization from the ground up, determining optimal field force size, structure and recruitment.
• Design differentiated go‑to‑market models tailored to tumor types, treatment settings and customer segments, ensuring alignment on positioning, pricing, access and omnichannel engagement.
• Represent oncology performance, risks and opportunities to the Country Leadership Team and Global Oncology leadership.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in oncology commercial launch and growth.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with hands‑on operational execution.
• Credibility with external oncology stakeholders and a “general manager” mindset.
• Ability to build high‑performing teams, instill governance and drive compliance.
