About the role
The Customer Care Consultant – Operations ensures that customer orders are accurately processed, tracked, and delivered on time. You will act as the central point of contact between customers, internal teams and logistics to guarantee smooth order flow and high service levels.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily checks of registered orders, validate or substitute order lines after communicating with customers, product managers, technical, logistics and loading teams.
- Update the commercial team on order status, readiness, missing items and any deviations from promised dates, focusing on high‑priority orders.
- Prepare and distribute weekly order‑status reports per customer to commercial and top‑management stakeholders.
- Coordinate loading dates, schedule partial loads for projects and push relevant departments to meet delivery promises.
- Maintain OTIF (On‑Time In‑Full) reports, monitor SLA performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage customer orders in the local ERP, removing outdated entries and ensuring all open orders are active.
- Identify procedural gaps, suggest improvements for stock replenishment, response times and MOQ issues.
Required profile
- Strong collaboration skills with production, warehouse, logistics and sales teams.
- Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external customers about order updates and deviations.
- Proactive mindset for suggesting replacements, discounts and process enhancements.
Required skills
- Experience with an ERP system for order management.
