Customer Service & Logistics Specialist – Chemicals

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized, customer‑focused professional to manage customer orders, coordinate shipments and act as the main liaison between customers, warehouses, suppliers and internal teams. The role ensures operational efficiency, on‑time delivery and high satisfaction across our chemicals business segment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, process and monitor customer orders, providing updates on order and shipment status.
• Create and manage sales orders in the ERP system (JDE or equivalent), verifying pricing, quantities and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate local and international shipments with freight forwarders, track inbound/outbound deliveries and support import/export logistics.
• Liaise with warehouses and third‑party logistics providers to ensure timely dispatch, accurate stock handling and batch/expiry control.
• Prepare and verify logistics documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists and customs clearance paperwork.
• Collaborate with supply chain, sales, finance, warehousing and regulatory teams to maintain business continuity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in customer service, logistics coordination or supply‑chain operations.
• Experience in chemicals, FMCG or industrial distribution is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• ERP system knowledge (JDE preferred).
• Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities.
• Understanding of import/export procedures and customs documentation.
• Familiarity with logistics and order‑management processes.
