Supply Chain Manager

About the role

JTI is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead production planning, inventory control, and logistics execution within a fast‑moving consumer goods environment. You will work closely with Marketing, Commercial Planning, Global Supply Chain and Finance to ensure products are delivered on time, at the right cost, and with the required quality.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee production and shipping schedules, aligning them with inputs from Marketing, Commercial Planning and Global Supply Chain.
• Monitor finished‑goods warehouse levels, ensuring optimal inventory coverage and availability.
• Resolve demand‑supply mismatches, drive timely plan updates and manage shelf‑life risks.
• Coordinate logistics operations, including shipment scheduling, bookings, routing and sourcing locations.
• Track in‑transit inventory and update projections based on shipment movements.
• Optimize logistics costs by managing demurrage, detention and port charges.
• Reconcile physical stock, sales and financial systems monthly with Internal Controls and Warehousing.
• Produce monthly reports on inventory coverage, shelf life, production pipeline and write‑offs.
• Collaborate with FP&A and Commercial Planning on cash‑flow impacts of inventory and import schedules.
• Lead the monthly demand‑planning cycle, organizing cross‑functional meetings and highlighting risks.

Required profile

• University degree in management, business, supply chain or logistics (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in supply chain within the FMCG industry.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP and advanced Microsoft Office tools.
