Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst (Senior)

About the role

We are looking for a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst (Senior) to lead and execute our threat intelligence program within the bank’s information security function. The role will work closely with the Security Operations Center and incident handling teams to provide proactive monitoring and timely response to emerging threats.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage the threat intelligence program in alignment with the broader vulnerability management and incident handling processes.
• Collaborate with the SOC to supply actionable threat data for proactive monitoring and detection.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the threat landscape affecting the banking sector and provide indicators of compromise to security teams.
• Oversee technologies and processes for defending against zero‑day and persistence attacks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory information‑security standards and enforce security policies across the enterprise.
• Identify, classify, assess and monitor information‑security risks, maintaining the risk register and associated risk scenarios.
• Evaluate security controls during requirements, acquisition, development and testing phases for adherence to policies and external requirements.
• Review and measure IT security standards, baselines and control implementations to guarantee confidentiality, integrity and availability of data.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of cyber threat intelligence and its application in a banking environment.
• Experience working with Security Operations Centers and incident handling processes.
• Proven ability to assess and manage information‑security risks and maintain risk registers.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for the financial sector.
• Analytical mindset with the capacity to evaluate security controls across the system lifecycle.
