Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

As a Cybersecurity & Compliance Engineer at Bevatel, you will safeguard the company’s digital infrastructure and ensure compliance with Saudi national security standards. You will act as the technical authority for NCA, CST, and SAMA frameworks, helping Bevatel maintain its reputation as a trusted cloud communications provider.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls (ECC) and Cloud Cybersecurity Controls (CCC).
• Handle technical requirements for the CST Cybersecurity Registration Framework (CRF) and ensure certification.
• Maintain security systems in line with the SAMA Cybersecurity Framework for financial‑sector integrations.
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans, risk assessments, and coordinate penetration testing on networks and cloud environments.
• Monitor security threats, lead incident response, and protect data and customers.
• Prepare technical evidence and documentation for external audits and regulatory inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or Computer Science.
• 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, either GRC or hands‑on technical security.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi standards: NCA ECC, CST CRF, and SAMA requirements.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Experience with firewalls, encryption, and securing cloud environments.
• Proficiency in vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or CISA are highly preferred.
