CyberSecurity Manager

About the role

The CyberSecurity Manager will lead the coordination of cybersecurity activities across technical teams, subcontractors and key stakeholders for large‑scale rail infrastructure projects in Egypt. The role ensures system designs meet security standards, monitors outsourced security work, and supports compliance with IEC 62443 while mitigating technical risks that could affect project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate cybersecurity efforts among internal technical teams, subcontractors and external stakeholders.
• Review and validate system designs for security compliance.
• Monitor and audit subcontracted cybersecurity work.
• Support implementation and adherence to IEC 62443 standards.
• Identify, assess and resolve technical security risks impacting project timelines.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, testing & commissioning, commercial and regulatory groups.

Required profile

• Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, preferably in railway, industrial, OT or infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of OT/ICS security concepts.
• Working knowledge of IEC 62443.
• Fluent communication in Arabic and English.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
