Data Architect - Part-Time

About the role

Integrant is hiring a Data Architect in Cairo to design solutions for the ingestion, storage, processing, transformation, enrichment and presentation of data for analytical consumption. The role covers eliciting requirements, selecting and customizing analytical architectures, designing and building data pipelines, and building data strategies while coaching clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit requirements and select and customize analytical architectures to meet customer needs
• Design and build data pipelines and data strategies
• Coach clients and internal teams on modern architectures (data warehouses, data lakes, data lakehouses, data fabrics, data meshes) and methodologies (DataOps, MLOps)

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in data engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or another quantitative field; postgraduate degrees preferred
• Ability to interact with stakeholders at all organizational levels, understand analytical challenges and gather requirements
• Deep understanding of the evolution of analytical architectures, and the ability to justify them technically

Required skills

• Extensive experience with Microsoft on-premise Data Platform (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) or equivalent
• Query performance optimization and high availability configuration
• Data cloud vendors such as Microsoft Azure (Fabric, ADF) or AWS (S3, Lake Formation, Glue, Redshift, Kinesis)
• Large processing stores such as Databricks or Snowflake
• Dimensional modeling and strong data warehouse architecture knowledge
• Vibe coding tools (Cursor, Codex, Claude Code) and agentic frameworks and LLM orchestration (LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, LlamaIndex, n8n)
• Agent Protocol (MCP) and familiarity with DataOps
