Demand Planning Specialist

About the role

Talabat is seeking a Demand Planning Specialist to ensure optimal inventory levels across its store network. You will analyze stock data, adjust ordering parameters, and collaborate with suppliers and category managers to prevent out‑of‑stock situations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily stock movements and generate inventory adjustment reports.
• Maintain and update replenishment model parameters such as lead times, reorder points, EOQ, and minimum order quantities.
• Prepare demand forecasts, initiate store orders, and track receipt of goods.
• Coordinate inventory management with Category Managers and provide accurate analysis and reporting of purchase forecasts.
• Dispatch orders to suppliers, track deliveries, and maintain precise inventory records.
• Liaise with suppliers to improve collaborative forecasting, planning, and replenishment processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory controlling or demand planning.
• Detail‑oriented, structured, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with senior executives and manage multiple stakeholder expectations.
• Proactive learner who thrives in dynamic environments.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
